About

The Inman Valley Community & Memorial Hall

Built by a local and predominantly volunteer effort was opened in October 1955. Since its inception a community committee has overseen both its care and use as a centre point to the town and surrounding land.

The hall has been used regularly during the years to host fundraisers for local groups including the hall itself. These have taken the form of numerous balls and dances, in the earlier days often a chance for young couples to meet within the area.

Family celebrations have also played a huge part in the events held within the hall. From weddings and receptions, birthdays and coming of age celebrations, through to family reunions.

Other gatherings in the hall included table tennis, markets, craft days, meeting and markets.
